EMDR Therapy · Charlotte, NC

Heal what still feels
unfinished.

Some experiences don't simply become "the past." They stay alive in the body shaping how you react, relate, and move through your life. EMDR therapy can help you gently process what's still unresolved, so it no longer defines you.

What is EMDR Therapy?

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It's a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories and experiences.

Rather than requiring you to retell every detail, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, often eye movements, tapping, or other left-right input, while you gently revisit parts of a memory. Over time, this reduces the emotional charge of what happened and helps your nervous system recognize that the danger is no longer present.
